Maiko Special

A cafe specializing in matcha-flavoured desserts is a cafe after my own heart. 4 stars.

It’s not the best matcha soft serve I’ve ever had, and the shiratama wasn’t the freshest, but the whole thing put together was still quite a treat. Far from skimping on the matcha, they went ahead and sprinkled a bunch of extra matcha powder over the ice cream - by the time I was done with the thing, I was feeling the jitters.

The other awesome thing was the matcha cake sitting right under the soft serve. Definitely kicked it up a notch.

It’s no small treat, so be sure you have the space for it if you order one.
