Matcha UFO Pan

3 stars, at least. I mean, it’s a UFO pan!

Another one from Clover Bakery & Cafe. I think I’ve seen these being made before - a matcha mix is poured over a bun, and the result is a bread with a dome in the middle, the mix pooling around the bun to form a flat bottom. And that’s how you get a bread shaped like a stereotypical UFO.

The edges with its matcha flavour were not bad, but the bun inside really is just a plain bun. No matcha mochi center or anything like that, sadly. Only get it if you’re in it for the UFO shape novelty factor.
